DOG.................

Rich and the boys have asked and asked to get a dog for many years. Rich has said he wants a English bulldog if we get a dog and well since they look like they are kind of lazy, slobbery, chubby dogs, I nicely told him, if we ever do get a dog I would like a boxer. Still with much begging and looking for a long, long time, finally last week I said: I don't care, get one if you want its up to you. Rich and Zeb jumped on the chance and went and got Mr. Zeek. He is a cute one and Zeb has done great with taking care of him. I never knew they could be so much work. They are like having another baby in the house:)

Daxer Man!!

I found him like this watching T.V. I was calling his name and walked right past him:)
Had to go poop way to bad to take the helmet off.... He will play with it on sometimes, just incase he gets to ride the fourwheeler.

BiRtHdAy!!!!!!

My little man just turned 5. It is so sad to see them grow up and become so independent. I still try to hold them like a baby, but it doesn't work so well and they kind of get bugged by it, but they are pretty good sports when I really need some hugs:)
So this year I decided to attempt to make Dax's cake once again. Of course he wanted a dirt bike cake and out of the pictures I showed him, this is the one he picked. I think it turned out pretty good.


This Year we decided to celebrate Dax's and Hailey's Birthday together and it turned out great! (Hailey is the cute blonde)

This year I thought it would be funny to get him magic candles for his cake:) ha ha!!! It was so funny... especially when they lit up again after he was cheering that he blew them out... He tried and tried over and over again, and then all the kids started to help him. Finally Dax just spit on them.....I guess that's one way!

Clean?

I don't think Dax knows the meaning of clean when we are camping! If there is dirt around, Dax is in it, and by the end of this trip I was out of clothes for him:) At least he had fun and was entertained the whole time.....

First day of School!

Zeb's first day of second grade. I can't believe how fast they grow.
This year we put Dax in a all day preschool/kindergarten and he loves it. But now the house is empty and really weird. The first day of school and after much cleaning and I was ready for the day I still had 4 hours until they would be home, It drove me crazy to have the house so quiet. Something needs to change............. Maybe Dax won't go to school on Mondays, so we can hang out:)

RACE!!!

So my brother Bryan talked me into doing a trail run/Mtn. bike race as a team with him. So me thinking since I ran 5-6 miles a couple of days a week, I thought a 4 miles trail run wouldn't be to bad at all and then thought I better get some Mtn. biking in for the 10 mile Mtn. bike part of it. Well low and behold this race was a hole lot more then just trail running. We did a 2 miles loop for the run and a 5 mile loop for the bike and we each had to do them twice in a row. We ran through rivers, jumped/crawled under trees, over fences and logs. The run was actually pretty fun, but coming out of the water my shoes felt like they weighed 20lbs. The bike part of it was fun at the beginning until we got to the sandy hill and mile long stretch of just sand. Basically you just spun in the sand, and if you tried to ride in it you used all your energy staying in one place, so it seemed. Once again most of my pictures didn't download, but here are some that did.

Camping

Camping at Tony Grove is one of our favorite things to do as a family.
Zeb loves smores and could eat and eat them.
Zeb has really took to fishing this year and loves to go any chance he gets.. Sad thing is Rich nor I really like to do it, but his uncles do and that gets Rich out doing it with Zeb:).....

Brent pushed Rich out on the log so he could try and get some better fishing, and as you can see it is Waiste deep to Brent. (The sad thing is my picture of Rich soaking wet didn't download.... ) After Brent pushed the log out he decided to go dry off. When rich was done Brent didn't want to get wet again so he threw a log to Rich to have him push his self back. As Rich was pushing on the log he lost his balance and fell in the water and went all the way under. When he came back up he was so cold he could hardly breath..... We couldn't decide if the look on his face from falling in our coming out was the funnest... Poor guy was freezing wet for the rest of the day:)

ReAlLy!!!!!

Just gotta love those days when Dax wants to dress himself and he trys really hard to match...

New York City!!!

Once again I got to go to New York and visit Sydney. It was a blast, like always. Thank you Syd for the adventures and fun that we have when we are together, and Rich for letting me take the time to go and play and being so wonderful about it. Thank you mom and dad for taking care of my boys on short notice and loving them so much while I was gone and Rich was working. Love you all!!

10k in Central Park!

So one of the many things I did this time in New York was run a lady only 10k in Central Park with Syndey, well not really with her, but we signed up together and was planning on running it together but some girl thought she didn't need to train and only ran 2 miles once.. ha ha!! The funny part about it was the next day she couldn't walk and I was just fine:) and of course some of my pictures didn't download. - But the girl that won the race did it in 30:28 -

These stairs are made of Candy. This is the famous Dylan's Candy store in New York. It's three floors filled with all the candy, chocolate, nuts, etc that you could think of:) I so bad just wanted to try and dig some candy out of the stairs, but I held myself back and just walked down them:)
